How KoffeePoints work

KoffeePoints are your monthly allowance for requesting chats, opening companies and creating growth plans. Here's how they top up and what things cost.
KoffeePoints are your in-app allowance. You spend them on a few things that take real work to do well, like requesting a coffee chat or creating a growth plan. Browsing Discover, reading company pages you've opened and finding shepherds cost nothing.
KoffeePoints have no cash value, and they can't be sold or transferred.
You can also earn points by inviting friends: 10 KoffeePoints for each friend who joins KoffeeChat with your invite link (they create an account and confirm their email). More ways are under Earning extra points below. Refer & earn

Your balance goes back to your plan's allowance on the 1st of every month. Points you don't use don't roll over, so there's no need to save them up. Points you earn work the same way: they last until the end of the month you earned them.
Earning extra points
Share what a company you work at, or worked at, is like (its perks, your pay, whether you'd tell a friend to apply) or how an interview there went, and get 3 KoffeePoints for each set of answers, up to 15 a month. You get them whatever you answer, as long as you answer at least one question. Coffee chats don't earn points. Sharing pay, perks and interview insights

Going back to a company you've already opened, or a growth plan you've already created, is free. On Plus and Pro, opening a company never uses points: Plus includes public companies, and Pro includes private ones too. What uses KoffeePoints
Checking your balance
Settings → KoffeePoints shows your balance, what you've spent this month and, under Activity, every time you've used or received points. You can also get there from Usage & KoffeePoints in your account menu.
For shepherds
Your balance is in your account menu under Usage & KoffeePoints.
If you run out
When your balance reaches 0, anything that costs points waits until your allowance tops up on the 1st. You'll see a message saying you're out of KoffeePoints, with a way to upgrade. Everything you already have stays yours: companies you've opened, your saved growth plans and your career ladder.
