What Kofi summaries are

For talents and shepherdsUpdated 29 Sep 2026

Kofi, our AI, sums up what people say in their reviews without quoting or naming anyone.

Kofi is KoffeeChat's AI. When someone has ratings with comments, Kofi reads the shared ones together and writes a short summary of what people value and suggest.

Where you'll see it

  • On a shepherd's or talent's profile, under Coffee chat ratings, as what people say about them.
  • On your own profile, as what others are saying about you.
  • Each summary says it was summarised by Kofi, our AI, and how many reviews it's based on.

How Kofi protects reviewers

  • Kofi only reads ratings that have already been shared, from several different people, without their names or account details.
  • Kofi is told never to quote or closely paraphrase a comment, never to mention a detail only one person gave, and never to hint at who wrote what. Summaries that break these rules aren't shown.
  • Summaries never include links, email addresses or phone numbers.

AI can be wrong

Treat a summary as a helpful starting point, not the final word. If Kofi's summary about you seems wrong, choose Report a problem and pick My profile.
