Inviting talents to your organisation
For organisationsUpdated 29 Sep 2026
Invite talents from your organisation's email domain, and what happens when they accept.
In your organisation, a talent is a colleague who uses KoffeeChat to grow in their role. Inviting them gives them a work account with their seat on your organogram, an internal career ladder, the Growth Resources you pick and Surprise Koffee.
Invite a talent
- Step 1: Go to Team & Access → Invite Employees (or use the quick invite on Team & Access).
- Step 2: Add them from a roster or one at a time, using their work email on your domain.
- Step 3: Set Joins as to Talent and Access to Member (or higher, if they'll help run the dashboard).
- Step 4: Press Send.
The email they receive
The email invites them to join your organisation on KoffeeChat and explains what they'll find: their seat on the organogram, their internal career ladder, growth resources picked for their role and colleagues to meet through Surprise Koffee. It also tells them the invitation is only for their email address, and that nothing happens until they join.
When they accept
- They sign up or sign in with the invited work email and see Welcome to your organisation, with Open your workspace.
- If their seat is on your organogram with the same work email, it's linked to them.
- If that email already has a personal KoffeeChat account, we explain that it will become their work account and let them choose Join anyway or Not now.
Their personal side stays theirs
A work account is separate from a personal account. Your organisation never sees a colleague's personal growth plans, coffee chats or job hunting. Keeping personal and work separate
