What a work account is
For organisations and work accountsUpdated 29 Sep 2026
Your organisation's workspace on KoffeeChat, how it differs from your personal account and how to switch.
A work account is your place in your organisation on KoffeeChat. It's where you find your seat on the organogram, plan your next role inside the company and meet colleagues through Surprise Koffee. You get one when your organisation invites you by email and you accept with that work email.
What you'll find
Your work account opens on a page marked Work account, with two sections:
- Organogram: your organisation's structure. Find your seat and open it to set your internal career ladder and choose who can see your growth. Your seat and internal career ladder
- Surprise Koffee: rounds that pair you with a colleague for a coffee chat. Taking part in Surprise Koffee
If you help run your organisation (as an owner, admin or recruiter), you land in the organisation dashboard instead, and Open admin console takes you there from your work account.
Personal | Work
The Personal | Work switch in the header moves you between your own account and your work account.
- Press Work to open your work account. If this email isn't connected to an organisation yet, you'll see Switch to your work account, with Sign in with work email if your company uses a separate address.
- Press Personal to go back to your own side. If you signed up only through a work invitation, you'll see Your personal side gets its own account and can press Sign up with my personal email.
Two accounts, kept apart
Your work account and your personal account are separate logins. Your employer never sees your personal growth plans, coffee chats or job hunting. Keeping personal and work separate
