Keeping personal and work separate

What your employer can and can't see, and why your personal account stays yours.
KoffeeChat is private by design: your growth plans, coffee chats and job hunting are invisible to your employer. That's why your work account and your personal account are separate logins.
What your organisation can see
- Your seat on the organogram: your name, title and department, and your work email inside the organisation.
- Your internal career ladder and growth, only as far as your growth visibility allows. Your seat and internal career ladder
- Whether you take part in Surprise Koffee.
What your organisation never sees
- Anything in your personal account: your growth plans, career ladders, coffee chats and messages.
- What you do with other companies from your personal account: which ones you follow, open or show interest in.
- Your company reviews, which are anonymous by default.
Work accounts are never listed in the shepherds' Talents directory either.
Setting up a personal account
Use your personal email for your personal account. If you're in your work account, press Personal on the Personal | Work switch, then Sign up with my personal email. Your personal account is yours for life: it moves with you when you change jobs.
Same email for both?
If you use one email address for everything, your organisation's invitation turns that account into your work account. To keep them apart, sign up for your personal account with a different email.
