How to upgrade to Plus or Pro, how you pay, and when your new limits start.
Upgrading
- Step 1: Go to Settings → Plan & billing. Your plan is marked Current plan.
- Step 2: Press Upgrade to Plus or Upgrade to Pro.
- Step 3: We take you to a secure checkout to pay.
- Step 4: When you're done, you come back to Plan & billing and see Welcome to your new plan! Your subscription can take a moment to activate.
Where to find itOpen Plan & billing
You can also upgrade from the prompts you'll see when you run out of KoffeePoints or coffee chats, or open a company your plan doesn't include. Shepherds: choose Upgrade plan in your account menu.
How you pay
- Nigeria, or no country on your profile: you pay in naira through Paystack.
- The UK, the euro area or Canada: you pay in pounds, euros or Canadian dollars by card through Stripe.
- Anywhere else: you pay in US dollars by card through Stripe.
- We never see your full card details: our payment providers handle them.
What changes, and when
- Your new plan's coffee chats, KoffeePoints and company access apply as soon as your subscription is active.
- Your KoffeePoints balance becomes the new plan's allowance, minus anything you've already spent this month.
- Plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically. Renewals, cancelling and refunds

If you've paid but your plan hasn't changed after a few minutes, choose Report a problem in your account menu and pick Payments & KoffeePoints. We'll sort it out.
