Blocking or reporting a conversation

Stop someone messaging you, or tell us about a conversation that worries you.

Blocking someone

Step 1: Open the conversation and press the Conversation options menu (three dots) at the top.
Step 2: Choose Block and their name.
Step 3: Confirm with Block.

Neither of you can send messages in that conversation until you unblock them.
Your messages so far stay where they are.
Your coffee chats aren't affected. If you'd also like to call off a chat, see Changing the time or withdrawing a request.

Open the same menu and choose Unblock and their name. Only the person who blocked can unblock.

Step 1: Open the conversation's menu and choose Report this conversation.
Step 2: The Report a problem form opens with Messages picked. Tell us what happened.
Step 3: Press Send report. We'll reply by email and in the app.

We don't read your messages unless you tell us about them. Feel unsafe? Choose Safety or abuse instead: we treat those first. Staying safe
