Finding UK visa sponsors

For talentsUpdated 30 Sep 2026

What the Visa sponsor badge means, where the list comes from, and what it can't tell you.

If you're hoping to work in the UK, it helps to know which employers are licensed to sponsor a visa. KoffeeChat includes every employer on the UK Home Office's register of licensed sponsors.

What the badge means

  • Visa sponsor on a company card, and 🇬🇧 Licensed visa sponsor on a company page, mean the employer appears on the Home Office register of licensed sponsors.
  • Visa routes lists the routes the employer is licensed for, when the register gives them.

Finding them

  1. Step 1: Go to Companies and set Country to United Kingdom, with all industries showing.
  2. Step 2: Under All UK employers, search the full register by name.
  3. Step 3: Press View on an employer to open it.

Searching with another country selected? Matching employers from the register also appear under From the UK register 🇬🇧, below your results.

What it can't tell you

  • A licence means an employer can sponsor, not that it will sponsor you or that it's hiring now.
  • The register changes over time, so check the employer's own careers page and the latest register before you apply.
  • KoffeeChat and shepherds don't give immigration advice. A shepherd can share their own experience, but it isn't advice for your case.
