Changing the time or withdrawing a request

How to withdraw a request and pick a new time, and what to do once a chat is already confirmed.
You can have one open request with each shepherd at a time. To change the time of a request, withdraw it and book again.
Withdrawing a request
- Step 1: On Coffee Chats, under Your coffee chats, open Upcoming and press More (the … button) on the request, then Change or withdraw. You can also open the shepherd's profile (press their card, not the Requested ✓ button) and press Book a coffee chat ☕.
- Step 2: The window shows You already have a coffee chat requested with them, and when.
- Step 3: Press Withdraw request. We confirm with Request withdrawn. Pick a new time below.
- Step 4: Pick a new time and send your request again, or close the window.
A withdrawn request doesn't count towards your plan's coffee chats, and it shows as Withdrawn under Past.
For shepherds
Peer chats you've booked are under Your coffee chats on Network. You can withdraw one there (More, then Change or withdraw) any time before your fellow shepherd answers.
Once a chat is confirmed
A confirmed chat can't be moved or withdrawn in the app. If you can't make it, message your shepherd as early as you can, from Messages or from More on the chat under Your coffee chats. If you'd still like to meet, agree a new time together there.
If your shepherd hasn't answered
Shepherds are volunteers and some take a few days. If the time you picked passes without an answer, the request shows as Not confirmed. You're then free to book them again with a new time, or try someone else.
