How Surprise Koffee pairs you with a colleague for a chat, and how to sit a round out.
Surprise Koffee pairs you with a colleague from somewhere else in your organisation for an informal coffee chat. Most colleagues only know each other's job titles; this is a chance to find out what people actually do.

How a round works
- Step 1: Your organisation starts a round. Everyone seated on the organogram who hasn't opted out is matched.
- Step 2: Open Surprise Koffee in your work account to see Your surprise match: their name, their job title and a conversation guide.
- Step 3: Get in touch with your colleague and find a time that suits you both.
- Step 4: Use the guide's questions if you need a starting point, then press We met ☕ once you've had your chat.
Sitting rounds out
Taking part is optional. Press Opt out under Surprise Koffee and you'll sit out new rounds; it says You're currently sitting rounds out. Press Opt back in whenever you're ready.
