What organisations can see
For talentsUpdated 7 Oct 2026
When an organisation can see your profile, and what it never sees.
When an organisation can see your profile
- You follow its company, whether you followed before or after it started running its organisation on KoffeeChat.
- You show interest in one of its open roles with I'm interested.
Its owners, admins and recruiters can then see your profile, including your ratings from shepherds once there are some (an average and the qualities shepherds noticed, never who said what), so they can get back to you. On the Free plan, an organisation's console shows only some of the people interested in it, and it sees ratings only for the people it shows. Following a company and showing interest in a role
What it never sees
- Who viewed its pages and jobs. Organisations see how many views they had, never who.
- That you opened its company page, unless you then follow it or show interest in a role.
- Your coffee chats, your growth plans or your job hunting.
- Your CV or LinkedIn, unless you share them with a shepherd who works there, or show them on your public page.
Like anyone else, an organisation sees your public profile only if it has your link. Your public profile link
Your own employer
If your employer invites you to a work account, it's kept separate from your personal side. Your personal growth plans, coffee chats and job hunting stay invisible to your employer. Keeping personal and work separate
Reviews
Company reviews are anonymous by default, and they go public in a daily batch a few days after you write them, so a company can't match a review to a visit. Writing a company review
