Rating your chat

Once your chat's time has passed, we'll remind you to rate it. Your rating helps other talents find the right shepherd, and helps your shepherd see what's working.

Rating your shepherd

1. 1Step 1: Press Rate and your shepherd's first name on the chat under Your coffee chats, or open the reminder in your notifications.
2. 2Step 2: Under How was your coffee chat with them, tap a star from Poor to Excellent. The stars alone are enough to submit.
3. 3Step 3: If you like, pick up to 5 chips for what they did well and what they can do better, such as Insightful advice or Clear next steps.
4. 4Step 4: Add a comment if you like, up to 500 characters.
5. 5Step 5: Press Submit.

Anonymous and shared in groups

• Your rating stays private until it can be shared together with other new ratings of your shepherd, from at least 3 different people at a time, so it can't be traced to you.
• People see an average, the most-picked chips and a short summary, never who wrote what.
• Your written comment is never shown to your shepherd.

Changing your rating

• Until it's shared, press Edit your rating, change it and press Update.
• Once it's shared it shows Shared and is final.
• If your shepherd has marked the chat as missed, your rating shows Paused until they mark it completed.

You can rate a chat once its time has passed. Declined, withdrawn and missed chats can't be rated. How ratings work
